This was a big one!
Our most challenging project yet… A client required the supply and installation of 450 bays of brand-new heavy-duty pallet racking with a 30-day deadline. Through a massive, combined effort from our entire team, we managed to complete the installation by the deadline date.
With this being a new venture for the client, there was nothing existing to work off, with all the stock for the racking not yet arrived, and the narrow aisle forklifts, bought specially for this venture, also not yet delivered. We therefore had to work with data rather than physical information to plan and carry out this operation. Working closely with the forklift company, we produced a drawing and began the installation.
It was a smooth process, working alongside with the warehouse team who began to receive the stock intended for the racking. As the racking was being installed, the pallets were being loaded straight onto it.
It required a lot of clear communication and cooperation, but the installation was completed on time and without any problems. This was our most ambitious project to date but the challenge has given the whole team great experience.
